WE ALL NEED IMMINENT HEALING FROM BROKENNESS AND GENERATIONAL HATE:

Almost every Nigerian child suffers from internal unhappiness because we were born and raised with hate due to polygamy and our communal lifestyle, but a few..

It was a tirade of hate from one mother hating over another wife inside or concubines outside, one hating over a first son born by another woman inside the marriage or outside, another one hating over not having a son because society rendered the girl child useless. There was always something to hate another person over.

Hating over another person's child doing better than their child, hating over perceived or imaginary future success of another woman's or family members in law's children. hating over suspicious activities from person to the other, family members hating over fear of the unknown of witchcraft and enemies. Brothers hating Brother's family, sisters hating on wives, mates in law hating against themselves, mothers in law against wives and wives against their husbands and everyone else.

This hate progresses from generation to generation from parents teaching their children carry on baggage of hate to friends, schoolmates, coworkers and it spreads across. It is this culture of hate that always put 'us' on the wrong side of the divides..

This hate culture makes us to focus more on the loopholes of others more than ourselves. It is this culture that is making us focus more on fighting the old nonsensical norms, rather than teaching new ways to improve on them. It is this hate culture that makes us to thwart other people's effort, rather than focus on healing ourselves of the brokenness within us.

This hate culture that makes us prey to the whims of control mechanism religion, superstition, occultism, groups, ponzi schemes because it makes us trust people we don't know more than those we know. The promises from them give us hope and pseudo kind of happiness.

The truth is that our emotions arises automatically from whatever pathways we have set into our subconsciousness. These patterns can be changed, but only a few bother to look into how to do this because we're too dazzled by the lives of others instead of trying to fix ourselves.

True victory consist not in fighting the old, but learning new ways to reinforce on winning. True happiness is possible through self-love. The deeper you go in loving yourself, the less you become in condemning or judging others. Truly loving yourself will make it easier to stop hating on others. We're all victims..

Hurt people hurt other people. Only genuine self-love can cure hate. Happiness is an inside job. it is not a destination, but a journey and it is possible....

START THAT JOURNEY TODAY!

A good read. Hate is unnatural but a learned habit. Over time, this hate trait gains root. I believe we can unlearn anything we so wish to unlearn, especially hate, envy and jealousy. These bad energies stem out of fear, sometimes ignorance, shame, defensive mechanisms such as denial, irrational behaviours, painful memories and so forth. I think we should start enjoining in good and godly gestures that will continuously propel us to do better than the age before us. Obviously, if we know better, we can do better.

Thanks so much for your comment. It's so nice to see you here. I appreciate your contributions. We all need to start looking inward to see how we can do better to make the word a better place. Our main problem is we tend to always judge others. Hate is a disease we all need to heal from. It is destructive to self and others.

Akhere, I say it all the time. You can't give what you don't have. A lot of people hate their lives. They just transfer the hate to others. It's the reason I am very antagonistic on Facebook. A lot of people are gullible and easily cope and believe what see and hear. I always want people to see things from another angle. It is risky for everyone to keep quiet.

So true, hurt people hurt other people. Some people have been hurt over and over and have gone through years of abuse mentally, physically and emotionally in poligamous homes that even as adults they still carry that anger inside of them that prevents them from loving or showing love, they even hate themselves. I have seen this. Thank God for parents who taught us to love ourselves cos that is what we are passing onto our kids, and hopefully their kids so that this circle of hate can be broken. Nice one.
