In life, we go through some hard times that may irk you to want to question God about your situation, but always remember it could be worse because someone out there definitely has it worse than you. We must learn to be thankful and grateful for who we are and where we are while hoping for better days ahead.

No matter what's going on around you, one thing you must not do is envy people or wish you were someone else because you will be shocked to know who they are behind their facades. People act well. Do not let social media fool you. No one is posting their failures. Everything you see on social media is a show for the most part of it.

Be careful the people you associate with. Many people are not who think they are. With all the shenanigans going on in the world, Everyone is trying to keep safe and be alive for the people they love and care about. No one has anything in abundance this period. Life is the most abundant possession for now. No one was prepared for this pandemic. If you're worried that you are broke, remember you are not the only one. Many companies are filing bankruptcy and closing up. Many have lost jobs and many are taking their last breath, but you're still alive. Be thankful.

Never envy people you see displaying ostentatious lifestyle on social media. They do it out of a naive and parochial mindset. Many people who grew up in abject poverty remain poor psychologically and have the tendency to oppress others when they have money because they never envisaged to ever have money. Some people are so poor that all they have is money and no value. So they have nothing else to show to the world but money.

Moreover, never trust anyone who flaunts physical cash on social media. No one who earns money legitimately will flaunt it social media. People who earn money legitimately know the true value of it and respect it. They don't flaunt money. Only criminals do that. Stop admiring and hailing criminals. Do not wish to be them, do not hang around them, do not date or marry them. Their time of glory is always transient and you can be guilty by association.

Be very discerning about people. Be spiritually alert. Study people before you let them into your life. Don't get carried away with what you see or read, always engage your inner mind when dealing with people. Don't feel comfortable with someone you don't know their source of income. Don't let Nigerians fool you. No one becomes a billionaire by being a social media influencer and exactly who they infleuncing?

Mark Zuckerberg doesn't flaunt money on the internet, Bill Gates does not flaunt his wealth on the internet, Oprah Winfrey doesn't flaunt money on the internet, Dangote doesn't flaunt money on the internet, Ned Nwoko doesn't flaunt money on the internet, Funlonsho Alakija and a host of others who make legitimate money don't flaunt money on the internet. Only criminals flaunt money on the internet to get your attention and admiration with cheap "giveaways" because they don't know the value of money.

What will it profit you to live an exorbitantly ostentatious life like Hushpuppi and end up in prison?

Always remember "all that glitters is not gold". The time evil triumphs over good is, but for a short time.

BE UNAPOLOGETICALLY, AUTHENTICALLY AND LEGITIMATELY YOU. FREEDOM IS THE GREATEST WEALTH A MAN CAN EVER HAVE.

Fake life everywhere. In fact it's so sad how some people cannot see any thing wrong in what he did, they should go and share his sentence with him now.

To think that many Nigerians are still praying for Hushpuppi right now should let us know the decadence in our society. some don't see anything wrong in scamming people and companies of their hard earned money. Instead, they're hailing of him of chopping life. We have a very long way to go as a people. i pray for our children.

For every calculating scheme engineered to fulfill the get rich quick philosophy, a thousand mitigating steps are put in place to not get caught. Is constantly watching your back, for fear of being caught and the paranoia of being watched, worth it? Is giving away your liberty and tucked away in a room without sunlight, for a short-lived life of extravagance worth it?
