CONNECTING THE DOTS BETWEEN CONTRACEPTIVE IMPLANTS AND VACCINE IMPLANT. A PERSONAL POINT OF VIEW:

CONTRACEPTIVE IMPLANTS:

Contraceptive Implants are a long-term birth control option for women. A contraceptive implant Is a flexible plastic rod about the size of matchstick that is placed under the skin of the upper arm. It releases a low steady dose of a progestational hormone to thicken cervical mucus and thin the lining of the uterus (endometrium). Contraceptive implants typically suppress ovulation as well.

NORPLANT CONTRACEPTIVE:

Implantable progestin in the form of Norplant was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for contraception in 1990 and the newer Norplant 2 was approved in 1996 for contraception. It is no longer available in the United States, made up of matchstick-sized rubber rods, this contraceptive device is surgically implanted under the skin of the woman's upper arm, where it steadily releases a contraceptive substance (a progestin hormone called levonorgestrel).

The NORPLANT (levonorgestrel implants (unavailable in us)) SYSTEM is indicated for the prevention of pregnancy and is a long-term (up to 5 years) reversible contraceptive system. The capsules should be removed by the end of the 5th year.

WHY WAS NORPLANT DISCONTINUED?

Wyeth Pharmaceuticals had temporarily suspended U.S. distribution of the implantable contraceptive two years ago after health experts raised concerns that the device might be less effective than believed at preventing pregnancy.

When Norplant was introduced in 1990, the implantable contraceptive was heralded as a significant option for American women, the first new method of birth control in 20 years. It was believed to be more than 99% effective.

But the device was swept up in controversy from the start. Some women complained about side effects such as menstrual irregularities, headaches and nausea. Others said they were scarred when doctors botched the insertion or removal of the rods. And hundreds of lawsuits alleging problems with Norplant were filed on behalf of women who claimed they had not been adequately informed of the contraceptive’s risks.

A PERSONAL POINT OF VIEW:

After i had my youngest child in 1999, i opted for NORPLANT as a form of birth control because of the duration of effectiveness, because i don't do well with routine. I wasn't sure any other method of contraceptive i could abide with religiously. I had NORPLANT inserted in my left upper arm at the Family Planning Clinic at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) for five years. In between those five years, I had relocated to the United States, when they expired and it was time to remove them and reinsert new ones, i was sadly informed that NORPLANT was no longer in use in the US.

A few months later, i had the need to travel back to Nigeria and i went back to LUTH to remove my expired NORPLANT and reinserted new ones for another five years. After using NORPLANT for ten years, i decided to do away with it since it was not in use the US and it took a minor surgery to remove the last ones i had because they expired and

So connecting the dots between the controversy surrounding the COVID-19 Vaccine, I actually find it laughable that people would tie 5G high speed internet connectivity with Coronavirus and misconstrue the idea of intradermal vaccine chip with evil connotations like "mark of the beast" and every other insinuations.

Before COVID-19, people have been opting for intradermal implants for decades. As the world evolves, technology is advancing, so is medicine. It's all evolution of science. I personally see the controversy surrounding COVID-19 as a drag and ignorant. While effort is being made to flatten the curve and find a lasting solution to a global pandemic, i believe all we need now is to focus on safety and stop distracting and misinforming people. This is the era of artificial intelligence.

The same misinformed followers giving all their savings to their Pastors to live an affluent lifestyle by preaching prosperity and their followers can't afford 3 square meals because they are waiting for that fortune to drop from the sky one day upon them through prayers and no hard works. The followers are carrying the less expensive phones so that they can have enough to give to these fraudsters called pastor who themselves are showing off with the 5G Phones they preached against, they said causing COVID-19.
